Plan your round at Battenkill Country Club

The round opens with a par 3 that calls for a mid- to long iron, so a solid first swing matters.

A big fade off the tee risks the stream, so many players lay up to about 200 yards.

The first par 5 is the easier of the two. Avoid going long over the green.

A par 3 with bunkers on both sides of the green.

The Battenkill River runs down the right side, so keep tee shots left. The elevated green is guarded by two bunkers.

A fairway wood or long iron off the tee is the safe play, or take driver over the stream. The approach is a short iron to a tough, elevated green.

A wide-open tee shot leaves a mid- to short-iron approach to a small green with bunkers on three sides.

A par 3 needing a mid- to long iron. Short and right leaves an easy up-and-down, while long and left leaves a hard chip.

The longest and hardest par 5. Two long, straight shots set up a mid- to short-iron approach.
