Heritage Bluffs Public Golf Club, also called The Bluffs, is an 18-hole course in Channahon owned by the Channahon Park District. Dick Nugent designed it and it opened in 1993. It plays to par 72 and 7,171 yards from the Gold tees, just off Interstate 55 south of Joliet. The renovated clubhouse has a bar and grill and two golf simulators.

- Allow about four and a half hours for 18 holes

- Green-capped stakes mark protected areas where play is prohibited

Proper golf attire is required on the course. Collared shirts are preferred at all facilities, including the driving range, and derogatory graphics are not allowed.
Practice facilities
The practice area sits next to the clubhouse, and the club offers lessons and a youth golf program. Two golf simulators are in the clubhouse.
Food & drink
The clubhouse has a full bar, dining and a large patio. No coolers, food or beverages may be brought onto the course.

Tee times are spaced 10 minutes apart. The scorecard asks that 18-hole rounds be finished in four and a half hours or less.
Policies
Children ages 7 to 13 must be accompanied by an adult, and children under 6 are not permitted. If rain, lightning or a severe weather warning ends your round early, you receive a pro-rated voucher for the unplayed holes. Only golfers and authorized staff may be on the grounds, so walking, biking and fishing on the property are not allowed for non-golfers.
