Plan your round at Hickory Creek Golf Course

A straightaway opener that allows room for a mistake off the tee; the well-protected green slopes.

Looks simple from the tee, but a shot landing pin high or above the hole leaves a tricky putt on a fast, sloping green. Out of bounds right and a deep bunker left.

A tree-lined hole requiring a straight tee shot, with an approach into a sloping, well-protected green surrounded by trees, water and sand. The course calls this the start of its Amen Corner.

Requires a long, accurate tee shot threading trees on both sides of the fairway; shots too far left or right lead to trouble.

A mild dogleg right carved out of the woods with an elevated fairway leading to a sloping green; accuracy off the tee is needed.

A more forgiving hole, though the sloping, speedy green is well protected; a shot above the pin can lead to three putts.

An accurate tee shot sets up the hole, and length helps. The sloping green is protected by two deep bunkers.

A par five where the farther the tee shot is hit, the narrower the fairway becomes, with tree lines and a large fairway bunker. Three trees protect the green from the fairway.

Offers room to lay up or go for it off the tee; an accurate tee ball leaves anything from a short wedge to a mid-iron into the green.

Relatively forgiving, but a misguided tee shot is costly.

A par 3 with a sloping green well protected by bunkers and a tree grouping on the right; staying below the cup is key.

A par five that narrows the farther the tee shot is hit, with trees left and water right, and a two-tiered green.

Club selection off the tee matters to reach the 150 marker and avoid the water crossing the fairway. Trees frame the tee shot, and the sloping green is surrounded by a berm and bunker.

Rated the toughest hole on the course and rewarding to long hitters. Water is in play off the tee and Hickory Creek crosses the fairway 100 yards from the green; the tree-tightened fairway and severe green breaks add difficulty.

A big dogleg where a high tee shot moving left to right can cut the corner. The green slopes severely back to front, so staying below the hole is advised.

A dogleg left where a long tee shot in the left center of the fairway cuts yardage. Trees left, Hickory Creek running through the fairway and deep rough right punish errant tee shots.

The signature hole: an island green with bunkers set in a berm behind, leaving no room for error.

A dogleg right that is receptive to a good score when played in three shots; trying to cut yardage down the right side brings trouble.
