A warm-up hole; keeping the drive down the left side leaves a short-iron approach.

The landing area is larger than it appears from the tee. A good drive leaves a short-iron approach to a large green.

A short par three playing as a three-club green: club down for a front pin and up for a back pin. The bunkers look attached to the green but sit well short of it.

Trees on the left partially hide the landing area; the fairway bunker works as a target, with the tee shot aimed just left of it. There are no greenside bunkers.

Water right and bunkers left on a three-shot par five for most players. The second shot must clear the fairway bunker for a short approach, otherwise lay up.

The toughest hole on the course. The drive is aimed toward two large fairway bunkers, leaving most golfers a long second into a two-tiered green.

The tee shot favors the left side of the fairway, opening the choice of going for the green over water or playing to the largest landing area on the course. The approach is surrounded by water that is not visible, so accuracy is required.

A long par four into the prevailing wind. Clearing the fairway bunkers from the forward tees leaves a short approach; from the blues back the play is at the left edge of the bunkers with a draw. The green complex is the most difficult on the course, and laying up with a long iron or wood is advised.

A roughly 70-foot drop where club selection depends on pin position: two clubs less for a front pin, one less for a middle pin, and normal club for a back pin. The shot is sheltered from the wind.

A narrow fairway demands an accurate tee shot, though long hitters can carry past the tight landing area to where it opens on the left. The hole plays slightly uphill, so the approach needs extra club.

A short hole with a huge landing area and the prevailing wind behind, but water runs along the right side of the landing area. A long collection bunker on the right gathers misses from players going for the green in two, and the elevated green requires more club.

A roughly 200-yard club from the tee aimed just left of the target bunkers. The approach must carry a large ravine to the smallest green on the course, which is protected by a large collection area left and a small pot bunker right.

A par three playing slightly uphill and generally into the wind, so an extra club is suggested. There is no trouble in front of the green, and the forward tee does not cross the ravine.

Water runs down the right side of the fairway and in front of the green; a roughly 220-yard club aimed at the right side of the fairway is suggested, as the left side leaves a harder approach. Use an extra club on the approach, or lay up short of the water after a poor tee shot.

A long par three from the back tees with the largest green on the course, containing three tiers. The bunker sits about twenty yards short of the green, and club selection should change with the pin position. From the white tee forward the approach is easier to a generous green.

A target hole where the tee shot should finish 140 to 150 yards from the green. The approach plays uphill to a hidden green surface, with less of the complex visible the farther the tee shot is hit; missed approaches tend to feed back toward the green.

A par five requiring three solid shots, with a long waste bunker down the left and trees and water protecting the right. The tee shot is best played down the left side, and the uphill approach into the wind needs an extra club; five bunkers sit right of the green, so misses are better left.

The fairway narrows the farther the tee shot is hit, so around the 100-yard mark is the target. Off the left is a twenty-foot drop into wetlands that is not visible from the tees, and the three-tiered green is guarded by a birch tree left and a bunker right.
