Plan your round at Indian River Golf Club

Both riding and walking rates are offered for 9 and 18 holes, and the course is described as a walkable layout. Golfers must be 21 years of age to rent a golf cart unless the General Manager grants a waiver.

The 280-yard driving range is a short cart drive through a wooded area, reached by turning left before approaching the 10th hole; it includes a sand hazard for bunker practice, and a bag of range balls includes use of a cart to get there. A 6,000 sq ft practice putting and chipping green sits between the clubhouse and the cart barn on the way to the 10th hole and is free to use. A 2,000 sq ft short game practice area beside the driving range opened in May 2026 and features two bunkers and sloping putting ground.

Birdies Tavern is the on-site restaurant, open to golfers and non-golfers, with seating in the sun room or dining room or outdoors on the deck overlooking the 9th green. The menu features seasonal offerings and barbeque. Hours vary by season: spring/summer Mon-Sat 11am-9pm and Sun 11am-8pm, fall Sun-Thu 11am-8pm and Fri-Sat 11am-9pm, with winter hours to be determined. Reservations can be made through OpenTable, and the restaurant can be reached at (231) 238-8515.

Tee times can be booked online 24/7 or by phone at (231) 238-7011 during posted business hours. A credit card is required to reserve, but is not charged until arrival at the club. Tee times for 18 holes may be reserved up to 7 days in advance, and singles may be paired with an existing twosome or threesome at the course's discretion. Reservations can be cancelled or changed without penalty until 12pm the day prior to the tee time; otherwise groups are accountable for full payment, including no-shows.
