Jamestown Golf Course is a public nine-hole course on Conanicut Island in Narragansett Bay. Golf began here in 1895 with the Conanicut Golf Club, and the links moved to the present Littlefield-Clarke farm site in 1901, which makes it one of the oldest public courses in the country. It plays to par 36 and about 3,058 yards from the blue tees. It is first come, first served, with no tee times.

Arrival & check-in
There are no tee times. Check in with the starter when you arrive. The course opens at 7:30 AM seven days a week, with a later 8 AM opening posted for the fall.
Carts & walking
Golf carts and pull carts can be rented, so walking is an option.
Rentals & pro shop
Rental clubs are available, and the pro shop sells apparel and accessories.
Food & drink
The Caddy Shack serves grill items and cocktails, with a patio where leashed dogs are welcome.
Policies
Play is first come, first served. Leagues and tournaments can close the course or limit play, so check the course schedule before you go. Residents get discounted rates, and punch cards are sold.
