McCabe Golf Course is a 27-hole Metro Nashville Parks course in the Sylvan Park area. The original 18 holes opened in 1942 with tree-lined fairways and sand bunkers, and a nine-hole course was added several years later. The Middle, South and North nines can be played in pairs, and the course was renovated in 2007, when the North nine was redesigned to make room for the driving range. It is a city-run public course suitable for beginners and experienced golfers.

Know before you go
- Call (615) 862-8491 or book online to reserve a tee time up to 7 days ahead
- Check the current operating hours, which are adjusted for 2026
- The course has three nines (Middle, South, North); ask which two are being played
- Bounds: white stakes or lines are out of bounds, and the cart path behind 9 Middle, 1 Middle and 9 South is out of bounds
- Flag colors show pin position: white front, yellow middle, red back

Riding carts, private carts and pull carts are available, and cart-path rules are marked on the course.
Practice facilities
The driving range opened in March 2012 with 27 hitting stations on a two-level tee and is open year round, with grass tees from mid-April to mid-November and Astroturf tees in winter. A putting and chipping area is available, and three PGA professionals give individual and group lessons.

Rental clubs are available at the course.
Policies
Tee times can be reserved by phone or in person up to 7 days ahead, and online through Chronogolf. Tee times are recommended but not required, and walk-ins are taken as space allows. The course can close for bad weather at the manager's discretion. Operating hours have been adjusted for 2026 because of staffing, so call ahead.
