Park Hills Golf Course hole by hole
Par 3Par 4Par 5
Hole 1
433
yds ·Red
Risk-reward par 5: play short of the creek or carry it off the tee. The approach is blind to a small green with a creek in front.
Hole 2
123
yds ·Red
Uphill par 3 to a large flat green with bunkers on both sides. It plays a club longer.
Hole 3
265
yds ·Red
Slight dogleg right. Stay in the fairway and avoid the left side to keep a short approach to a green with a bunker on the right.
Hole 4
373
yds ·Red
Straight, short par 5, but the first two shots must stay in the fairway. Long hitters can reach the small green in two; a small bunker sits on the right.
Hole 5
300
yds ·Red
Downhill, with trees around the tee shot. The creek is reachable off the tee at roughly 280 yards, and the green slopes severely back to front with bunkers on both sides.
Hole 6
294
yds ·Red
Uphill and parallel to number 5. A straight tee shot avoids the fairway bunkers, and the large flat green is bunkered on both sides.
Hole 7
130
yds ·Red
Long uphill par 3 that plays a club longer, to a green with a severe back-to-front slope and bunkers on both sides.
Hole 8
299
yds ·Red
Downhill with trees on both sides, so the tee shot has to be straight. The two-level green is guarded by three bunkers.
Hole 9
338
yds ·Red
The longest par 4 on the front nine, a left dogleg that needs a long, straight drive and a long approach to a large green with bunkers on both sides.
Hole 10
257
yds ·Red
Long, uphill, slight dogleg left lined with trees. The green slopes back to front with two bunkers. It starts the tougher nine.
Hole 11
124
yds ·Red
Medium-length par 3, usually downwind. Avoid the bunkers on both sides and out of bounds left.
Hole 12
298
yds ·Red
The toughest par 4 on the back nine: a long, downhill left dogleg with trees and a fairway bunker on the right. The green is very steep, and short right in the bunker is safer than missing left.
Hole 13
271
yds ·Red
Very narrow, tree-lined fairway that demands a straight tee shot. The uphill approach plays a club longer.
Hole 14
301
yds ·Red
Parallel to 13 but longer. Keep the tee shot straight to avoid out of bounds left; the green slopes severely back to front.
Hole 15
418
yds ·Red
The longest hole on the course, with out of bounds all the way down the left and a creek on the second shot. The uphill third goes to a large flat green with bunkers on both sides.
Hole 16
302
yds ·Red
Straight, narrow hole with out of bounds left. The fairway slopes left to right with trees on both sides, and the small green has a bunker on the right.
Hole 17
141
yds ·Red
Downhill par 3 that demands accuracy, with a creek on the left and a severe slope on the right.
Hole 18
400
yds ·Red
Left-dogleg par 5: stay right off the tee but left of the fairway bunker, then hit a straight second between trees. The green has three bunkers, one about 30 yards short; long hitters can reach in two.
