Regatta Bay Golf & Country Club hole by hole
Par 3Par 4Par 5
Hole 1
A dogleg left with no hidden hazards. It can be reached in two, so it is a good early birdie chance.
Hole 2
A demanding par 4 that often plays into the prevailing wind. Par is a good score.
Hole 3
Center or left pins give birdie chances. Avoid missing back right.
Hole 4
Find the fairway between the fairway bunkers. The green is shallow and wide, so club selection matters.
Hole 5
The longest par 5 and hard to reach in two. Laying up to about 100 yards works best, and the front bunker is in play.
Hole 6
A short par 4 with no water or bunkers. Stay out of the left rough, and note the green is elevated.
Hole 7
The drive must carry an uphill bunker. The approach is downhill to a well-guarded green, and wind affects club choice.
Hole 8
A par 3 with a carry over water and bunkers. Aim for the front right of the green whatever the pin position.
Hole 9
A short par 4. A wetland sits short of the green, leaving a mid to short iron.
Hole 10
Find the fairway short of the second hazard. Avoid the left pin positions.
Hole 11
Drive to the right-center of the fairway. The green has subtle breaks, usually toward the water.
Hole 12
Best played as a three-shot par 5. Going for it in two means flirting with water and sand.
Hole 13
Trust the yardage and don't overestimate the high-lipped front bunker.
Hole 14
The shortest par 4. The green is hard to hold, but a short approach gives birdie chances.
Hole 15
A heavily bunkered par 3 with swirling winds. Aim for the center, since a miss usually leaves a difficult bunker shot.
Hole 16
The toughest par 4, with water left, out of bounds right and marsh across the fairway. Only the left side is bunkered.
Hole 17
A short par 4 with bunkers left and right. Balls hit over the green leave difficult chips.
Hole 18
A par 5 closer that wraps around a lake. It is reachable with a big drive, and a layup should leave at least 100 yards.
