Sydney R. Marovitz Golf Course is a nine-hole Chicago Park District course on the city's north lakefront, between Lake Shore Drive and Lake Michigan. All nine holes run parallel to the lake, with views of the water, the harbors and the downtown skyline. It opened in 1932 as Waveland Golf Course and was renamed for Sydney R. Marovitz in 1991.

Policies
The course is open year-round, weather permitting. Players 17 and under play free with a paying adult, one child per adult. Teens 13 to 17 without a paying adult can play free as walk-ups, with no advance tee time, Monday to Friday from 11am to 3pm or on weekends after 4pm, excluding holidays. The Park District does not supervise children on the course. Booking directly on the course site carries no booking fees.
