Wild Horse Golf Club hole by hole
Par 3Par 4Par 5
Hole 1
328
yds ·Black
A short par 4 that rewards finesse. Favor the left side off the tee, and don't go long on the approach, since the green kicks balls left.
Hole 2
414
yds ·Black
The tee shot is slightly blind. A line down the right is more aggressive but leaves a tougher angle. The large green has no bunkers and slopes right to left.
Hole 3
494
yds ·Black
A dogleg-right par 5 that plays into the prevailing wind, with several bunkers along the way. The small, sloped green is guarded by a pot bunker.
Hole 4
160
yds ·Black
An elevated tee shot to a large green with bunkers on the right. Aim left of the pin; the wind makes club selection tricky.
Hole 5
339
yds ·Black
Play the tee shot to the left for the best angle. The fishbowl green is flanked on the right by a sandy waste area, so a lay-up is often the smart play.
Hole 6
527
yds ·Black
A double-dogleg par 5 with big elevation changes and no bunkers. The green tilts sharply right to left and drops off on the left.
Hole 7
345
yds ·Black
A tee shot to the right of the fairway bunker sets up the best approach. The green is hard to get close to, with a large bunker on the left.
Hole 8
433
yds ·Black
One of the toughest holes on the course: a long, straight fairway with a big bunker on the left. The green has two large bumps in the middle.
Hole 9
143
yds ·Black
A long, narrow green with bunkers on the high side and a chipping area on the low side. Wind takes spin off the ball.
Hole 10
362
yds ·Black
A dogleg right with a narrow, rolling fairway. The small green has several mounds and tilts steeply from back to front.
Hole 11
120
yds ·Black
Short but heavily bunkered, with three bunkers around a large, undulating green. Avoid going long when the pin is in front.
Hole 12
393
yds ·Black
A downhill dogleg right with many fairway bunkers. The approach must carry three bunkers to reach a narrow green.
Hole 13
191
yds ·Black
A long, elevated tee shot over a valley to the largest green on the course, which has many rolls. Aim right of the green.
Hole 14
490
yds ·Black
Often downwind, so it's a birdie chance. A deep bunker guards the left of the shallow green and another sits behind it to punish long approaches.
Hole 15
307
yds ·Black
A short par 4 with many bunkers. The tiny, shallow green is pinched by bunkers at front right and back left.
Hole 16
418
yds ·Black
A long par 4 with a blind, slightly uphill tee shot. The green sits on a plateau with two bunkers on the right and a two-tiered surface.
Hole 17
505
yds ·Black
A par 5 that can be reached in two, with bunkers guarding the approach. The concave green has mounds on both sides.
Hole 18
384
yds ·Black
A medium dogleg right with bunkers around an uphill green. An approach from the right front feeds onto the surface.
