"Home On The Range," a par 4 with waste bunkers guarding the fairway left and right; a fairway tee shot leaves a mid to short iron in.

"Lonesome Valley," a short par 4 with a downhill tee shot that does not require a driver. The fairway is crowned and balls tend to kick right, leaving a wedge after a good drive.

"All in the Family," a tough par 3 requiring a carry over marsh to an elevated green. A miss left runs down a steep slope into the woods.

"Box Lunch," a par 5 with a tee shot that must carry marsh of 189 to 242 yards depending on the tee. The green is reachable in two, with five fairway bunkers waiting on the second shot and more room on the right side of the fairway.

"Shepard's Crook," a par 4 with out of bounds left and a water hazard right; right-center is the ideal line. Bunkers guard the front of a two-tiered green, so yardage control matters on the approach.

"Chasm," a par 3 with one of the tougher greens on the course: 70 yards long with a 5-foot drop in the middle, making yardage and club choice important.

"Tradition," a tough par 4 dogleg left. The tee shot should finish left-center; the second shot is blind for most players to a green guarded by a deep bunker on the right.

"The Hill," a reachable par 5 where carrying the bunker takes a tee shot of 184-244 yards depending on the tees. The right side of the green is horseshoe shaped and collects many second and third shots.

"Risk," the closing hole of the front nine, with a center-fairway bunker requiring a carry of 220-272 yards. A fairway wood or hybrid short of the bunker leaves a short iron or wedge in.

"Skyline," a par 4 where a left-center tee shot leaves a wedge into a tricky green with three defined quadrants.

"Forget Me Not," one of the wider fairways on the course; aim the tee shot left of the maples guarding the right rough.

"Duke's Daughter," a long, difficult par 3 that calls for a high shot. A deep bunker protects the front and the green slopes away.

"Ole Yeller," a par 5 reachable in two after a good tee shot; favor the right side and play to the center of the green.

"Foonman's Field," a par 4 decided by the tee shot; play the left side of the fairway, as a tree on the right blocks approaches. The green slopes front to back.

"Hickory," a par 4 with two water hazards along the right side and a large bunker left, making a fairway wood or hybrid a smart choice off the tee.

"Point Blank," the shortest hole on the course at 138-173 yards, with a very shallow green guarded by bunkers.

"The Natural," the shortest par 5 on the course, with a group of bunkers down the left side of the fairway and a large bunker right. The green can be attacked in two, with a bail-out area to the right.

"Judgement," a demanding finishing par 4 of 450 yards from the back tee, with wetlands down the entire left side and a green 67 yards deep.
