Know before you go
- Wear a collared shirt and golf shoes with soft spikes.
- No alcohol, outside food or coolers are allowed on the property.
- Book online up to seven days ahead.
- Bring your own clubs or reserve a rental set.
- Keep carts on the path on all par 3s.
- Plan on a round of about 4.5 hours or less.
- The driving range is across McMullen Booth Road from the clubhouse.
Arrival & check-in
The golf club, Academy and Youth Foundation are on the west side of North McMullen Booth Road. The driving range is across the road on the east side at 2987 N McMullen Booth Rd. The pro shop is open 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and the first tee times start at 7:00 a.m. or sunrise if that is later.
Dress code
Collared shirts, golf slacks or appropriate shorts, golf shoes and mock turtlenecks are acceptable. Denim, gym wear, bathing suits, cut-offs and tank tops are not allowed. Soft spikes only.
Carts & walking
The last cart goes out at 5:30 p.m. and should be back by sunset. Carts must stay on the path on all par 3s, and on other holes they must stay at least 30 feet from tees and putting surfaces. Non-playing guests can ride along for a fee.
Practice facilities
The driving range is on the east side of the property (727-216-6389). Golf instruction is offered, and the Chi Chi Rodriguez Academy is on the grounds.
Rentals & pro shop
Rental sets are available: TaylorMade sets in men's and women's, right and left-handed, and a lower-priced generic set. The pro shop sells apparel, shoes, headwear, balls and accessories, and bring your own clubs unless you are renting.
Food & drink
A snack bar serves hot dogs, sandwiches, chips and soft drinks. Alcohol is not sold or allowed on the property because the club is part of a Pinellas County public school campus, and outside food, drinks and coolers are not allowed.
Pace of play
The club asks golfers to finish a round within 4.5 hours. If you need help with pace, call the golf shop.
Policies
Tee times can be booked online up to seven days ahead, and rates vary by month, day and time. Juniors ages 6 to 15 get reduced rates. A rain check is a pro-rated credit that expires after 30 days, is not given after the 14th hole is completed, and is not available for tee times at 3:00 p.m. or later.
