Plan your round at Coyote Preserve Golf Club

A 560-yard par 5 with an uphill tee shot to an ample landing area; the second shot should favor the right side to set up the best approach to a small green.

A 380-yard par 4 where the tee shot should favor the right side of the landing area to avoid the fairway bunker at 230 yards. The green sits on a natural plateau surrounded by mature oaks and maples.

A 410-yard par 4 with a short carry across wetland from the tee and a large bunker on the inside of the dogleg right. Carrying the bunker or playing beside it gives the best angle to a narrow, long green; a conservative tee shot leaves a tougher approach.

A 395-yard par 4 requiring a longer carry back across the wetland, with bunkers right and bold fairway rolls left defining an elevated landing area. Favor the left side off the tee for the best approach to an elevated green angled left to right and guarded in front by a deep bunker.

A long par 4 of 450 yards played from the highest point on the course, dropping 75 feet and playing shorter than its yardage. Carrying the fairway to the left can add 25 to 50 yards of roll; the green is benched into a hill fronted by a stone wall, wetlands and bunkers.

At 155 yards, the shortest hole on the course, a par 3 with views over surrounding wetland prairies. The tee shot drops 50 feet to a green fronted by a stone wall and wetland with bunkers at the rear.

A 570-yard par 5 played from tees on a natural peninsula extending into a wetland prairie, doglegging left through mature hardwoods. The carry across the wetland is shorter than it looks; the right side is the safest second shot, but the ideal approach to the angled green comes from the left near deep fairway bunkers cut into the hillside.

A 190-yard, slightly uphill par 3 fashioned after Redan-style par 3s, with a deep bunker set against a wide, shallow green that slopes from right to left.

A par 4 with two distinctive green sites, playing 395 or 440 yards. The tee shot is a short carry across a deep ravine that runs down the right side of the fairway and in front of the lower green; a tee shot favoring the right sets up a short approach to the elevated left green or a long approach to the lower right green.

A 415-yard straight-away par 4 with large oaks to the right and fairway bunkers to the left, finishing at a green set in a grove of oaks and maples.

At 460 yards, the longest par 4 on the course, sloping from left to right. Favor the left side of the wide fairway to avoid the wetland on the right.

A 180-yard par 3 that crosses a deep ravine and stretches along the edge of a flat bluff, with an undulating green set among oaks and maples.

A 435-yard par 4 dogleg right that plays two or three clubs shorter if the fairway bunkers on the inside of the dogleg are carried. A conservative tee shot left leaves a longer approach to a large green guarded by a deep front bunker.

A 170-yard par 3 played from tees atop a hill overlooking two ponds, with a large natural roll and depression fronting the green.

A 420-yard par 4 with a sweeping natural dogleg left; the land flows downhill from right to left. Play right off the tee away from the huge oak for the best roll; a bunker sits 10 yards short of a green designed for a run-up approach.

A 590-yard par 5 dogleg right. A long tee shot to the left tempts a second aimed short and right of the green, and two solid shots can reach it; from the left, the second landing area leaves a downhill third to a medium-size green fronted by a rock wall and wetland.

A 220-yard par 3 with water from tee to green and a stone wall angled slightly right at the end of the lake. Playing to the front left is the safest line; reaching the center or right of the large undulating green requires a solid stroke.

A 545-yard par 5 sloping gently downhill with a slight dogleg left and a rock-lined stream fronting the green. The second shot can be laid up right for a short iron across the stream or played left to carry the stream near the green.
