It opened in 1927 and was home to the PGA of America from 1945 to 1962. Kris Spence restored it in 2024 to its original Ross design. - Warm up on the 250-yard range, putting green and short-game area
Dress code
Collared shirts are required on the course and the practice areas. Men may wear slacks or golf shorts; denim, gym shorts, bathing suits and cutoffs are not allowed. Women may wear collared sleeveless or golf shirts, shorts, slacks, and skirts ending no more than 5 inches above the knee; spaghetti straps, strapless and collarless tank tops are not allowed.
Practice facilities
The 250-yard driving range has netting at the far end and is suitable for all clubs. There is also a short-game area, a separate putting green, and two practice bunkers (one at the end of the range, one at the short-game area). Two PGA teaching professionals offer lessons.
Rentals & pro shop
Rental clubs and equipment need to be reserved in advance through the pro shop at 727-250-1046.
Food & drink
The Highland House restaurant is on site and open to the public.

The course is open 7 a.m. to dark daily and tee times are booked online. During the season, 9-hole reservations are available after 1 p.m. Single golfers can request tee times through the pro shop.
