The Gold Course at Golden Horseshoe Golf Club is a Robert Trent Jones Sr. design that opened in 1963 in Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia, and one he called his finest. It runs through tall pines over rolling ground, with ravines and a lake in the middle of the routing, and Rees Jones renovated it in 2017. It is best known for its island-green par 3 16th and a 634-yard par 5 15th. Par 71, 6,817 yards from the Gold tees (73.6 rating, 138 slope).
