Mission Inn - Las Colinas
Plan your round at Mission Inn - Las Colinas
Las Colinas is the newer of the two championship courses at Mission Resort + Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, west of Orlando, opened in 1992 and credited to Gary Koch. It is a par 71 with a back-tee length of about 7,100 yards (Black tees, rated 75.4 and sloped 132 on the card). The layout runs through gently rolling ground with oak hammocks and pines, wide fairways, large greens, some water and a few forced carries. It is less hilly than the resort's older El Campeon course.

Walk the course
Par 3Par 4Par 5
Hole 1
356
yds ·Challenger
A straightforward opening par 4 with little trickery, a gentle way into the round.
Hole 2
150
yds ·Challenger
A long par 3 played over water, with four bunkers behind the green, so a short miss is wet and a long one is sand.
Hole 3
352
yds ·Challenger
No notes for this hole yet.
Hole 4
361
yds ·Challenger
A demanding par 4 with a tight fairway, out of bounds left and swampy ground right. The green is long, narrow and double-tiered, so the approach needs to be crisp.
Hole 5
463
yds ·Challenger
A par 5 that bends slightly right, so favor the left side off the tee. Water guards the front of a three-tiered green, which makes club selection on the third shot important.
Hole 6
151
yds ·Challenger
No notes for this hole yet.
Hole 7
337
yds ·Challenger
A birdie chance for most, but long hitters need to watch a pond on the left about 130 yards from the green.
Hole 8
342
yds ·Challenger
A long par 4 where the fairway narrows in the landing area. Stay off the right side.
Hole 9
352
yds ·Challenger
No notes for this hole yet.
Hole 10
383
yds ·Challenger
A par 4 with a slight dogleg right, out of bounds down the right side and plenty of fairway bunkers on both sides.
Hole 11
144
yds ·Challenger
A typical Florida par 3 that asks for a carry over water to the green.
Hole 12
363
yds ·Challenger
No notes for this hole yet.
Hole 13
505
yds ·Challenger
A tough par 5. Favor the right side off the tee; few players get home in two.
Hole 14
370
yds ·Challenger
No notes for this hole yet.
Hole 15
136
yds ·Challenger
A long par 3 from the back tees to the smallest green on the course, so accuracy matters more than distance.
Hole 16
347
yds ·Challenger
A long par 4 with water running down the left side.
Hole 17
378
yds ·Challenger
A par 4 where the approach has to carry water from almost anywhere in the fairway. It is regarded as one of the prettier holes on the course.
Hole 18
480
yds ·Challenger
A par 5 closer with a hazard crossing the fairway about 250 yards off the tee. Big hitters need to be careful, and others must clear it with the second shot.
