Know before you go
- Wear a collared shirt; jeans and t-shirts are not allowed.
- Pick tees by how far you drive the ball, not by handicap.
- Keep the cart on the path on par 3s and wherever signs or ropes say so.
- Check the resort page for course closures during deer hunt dates.
Dress code
Conventional golf attire is required. Men and boys wear collared shirts and women and girls wear comparable tops. Jeans of any color, t-shirts and athletic warm-up apparel are not permitted, and shorts must be Bermuda length.
Carts & walking
Green fees include a cart. Carts stay on the path on par 3s and on any hole with signs, ropes, fences or curbs, and the daily cart rule is posted at the starter's stand. Under the scatter rule, drivers leave the path at the green post nearest the tee and return at the post nearest the green. Cart drivers must be at least 16 with a valid license.
Practice facilities
Range privileges come with the green fee. The practice area can also be used on its own for a separate fee.

Lightburn's Restaurant is upstairs in the clubhouse and overlooks the resort.
Pace of play
Play at a pace that lets a foursome finish 18 holes in 4 hours and 20 minutes or less. Course staff can step in to keep groups moving.
Policies
The course is open to resort guests and day players, with local rates for residents of nearby counties. Tee markers are suggested by driving distance, for example White for drives of 240 yards or more and Blue for 275 or more. The course closes on some dates for controlled deer hunts, so check the resort page. For tee times and conditions call the golf line at (304) 269-8885.
