Plan your round at The Wilderness Golf Course

A long opening par 4 with the championship tee across the lake. A draw suits the tee shot, with a left bunker to avoid and a long iron into a green that has an island bunker.

A par 5 that can be reached downwind, with water in play off the tee and on the way in. Choose between a lake carry and a safe layup to a small, raised green that slopes front to back.

A short par 4 lined with large oaks, so keep it off the left side. The split-level green rewards an approach that matches the pin's level.

The green is angled left with a ridge through the middle and water along its edge. A back-left pin is demanding, and a miss right leaves a long putt.

A mid-length par 4 with a wide landing area and no fairway bunkers. The big green has deep bunkers on both front sides.

Two fairway bunkers sit on the right and tall trees guard the front left of the green. Feather the tee shot between the bunkers so the approach clears the trees.

Mounds guard the left of the fairway and bunkers the right, so most players lay up. The green is narrow, very long and sharply contoured, with a single front bunker and the hardest pins on a small back shelf.

A long iron to an elevated green that slopes to the right, with a deep bunker on that side and water for a wayward shot. It plays much like an island green.

The longest and best-guarded par 4 on the front nine, with fairway bunkers at varying distances. It bends right to a heavily contoured green with sand left.

A straight par 5 with wetlands down the left and water on the right for long hitters. A big bunker at the front center of the green leads most players to lay up.

A short, gentle dogleg right with bunkers on the far left of the fairway. Approaches that come up short can roll back off the green.

A short dogleg with a lake down the left from tee to green and a bunker at the front right. The green is smaller and flatter than most.

A short iron over a pond, with a tree on the island that comes into play when the pin is on the left. The large green tilts left, so it can be used as a backstop.

A sharp dogleg right, usually downwind, with a tree at the inside corner and a pond in front of the green. The green is small, raised and sloped.

The longest hole on the course, with a pot bunker in the landing area and bunkers and water to the right. The punchbowl green is semi-blind when the pin is left, so alignment matters more than distance.

A deep swale splits the green. When the pin is in front it can be best to play short, and a pin behind the swale calls for a high shot or a running approach.

A fade suits the tee shot, with bunkers on both sides of the fairway. Two bunkers guard the left of the green, so approach from the right.

A lake runs the entire right side of a narrow fairway. The largest bunker on the course guards the right side of an L-shaped green, with three more on the left.
