Know before you go
- Proper golf attire is required; metal spikes are not permitted
- Book tee times online or through the golf shop
- Check the online tee time system or call the golf shop for current daily hours, which vary with the season
Arrival & check-in
The golf shop and the Chesapeake Bay Grille sit side by side, and the practice facility is on site, so build in time to warm up before your tee time. Metal spikes are not allowed.
Dress code
A dress code is in effect, and proper golf attire is required on the course and at the practice facilities. Metal spikes are not permitted.
Carts & walking
Golf cart rentals are available for players during their round.
Practice facilities
The practice facility includes a driving range, a practice green, and a short game area. Range balls are sold in small and large buckets at the golf shop.
Rentals & pro shop
Club rentals may be available for guests who need equipment. The golf shop handles range and practice sign-ups.
Food & drink
The Chesapeake Bay Grille is next to the pro shop and serves small plates, salads and sandwiches, with a main dining room and a casual pub room called The Village Tavern. Lunch and tavern hours run roughly 11am to 7pm Tuesday to Saturday (to 4pm Wednesday) and the restaurant is closed Sunday and Monday, so check current hours. Chatham's Cafe, the on-site coffee shop, opens in the morning Tuesday to Sunday. Reservations are encouraged for the restaurant at (352) 765-8001.
Policies
The course is open to the public, although it sits inside a 55+ community. Tee times can be booked online or through the golf shop, and the course is open year-round with hours that change with daylight. Online tee times through GolfNow take a small non-refundable deposit, and discounted Hot Deal times are refundable up to 24 hours before play.
