Arrival & check-in
Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the tee time to allow for check-in and warm-up; check-in at the golf shop is available up to 2 hours ahead of a confirmed tee time. Golfers who are unavoidably delayed will be accommodated whenever possible. There is no charge for parking at the golf course or when going through the Auto Plaza on the way there. A form of photo identification is required for every golfer to gain entry into the Shades of Green Resort, where the course is located.
Dress code
The course is a non-metal spike facility; golfers and FootGolfers may wear shoes with metal spike alternatives or tennis shoes. Appropriate, non-offensive golf attire is required, and denim jeans or shorts are not permitted. Men may wear a golf shirt or T-shirt with sleeves, turtlenecks or mock turtlenecks, slacks or Bermuda-length shorts, and casual athletic wear. Women may wear golf or athletic shirts with or without sleeves, suitable shirts or blouses with or without collars, slacks, skirts or Bermuda-length shorts, and casual athletic wear.
Carts & walking
Golf carts are not allowed on the course; Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course is walking only. Pull carts can be rented per person per round, based on availability. SoloRider single-rider accessibility golf cars are available at Walt Disney World Golf; guests needing one should mention it when speaking with reservations agents.
Practice facilities
There is a practice putting green and a driving range. Lessons with PGA instructors are available, including 45-minute private lessons for juniors ages 5 to 17 and adults 18 and over; call (407) 454-5096 for information. Guests under 18 must have parent or guardian permission to call.
Rentals & pro shop
Rental equipment is available, including TaylorMade clubs in men's, women's and junior models, plus Adidas golf shoes; neither rental shoes nor clubs need to be reserved in advance, though noting equipment needs during booking helps staff prepare. Club sharing is not permitted — each player must have their own bag and clubs — and loaner golf bags are provided at no charge for guests who travel with clubs combined in one bag. The Magnolia, Palm and Oak Trail pro shop carries caps, logo shirts, clubs and towels. Clubs can also be stored overnight; ask at the end of the round, and the clubhouse has locker rooms and showers with no fee for lockers and keys from the pro shop.
Food & drink
Chip 'n' Dale's Deli, a snack bar with an outdoor patio, is adjacent to the Magnolia golf course putting green, a short walk from the clubhouse. Personal coolers and other food or beverage storage devices are not permitted on the courses. Water fountains and ice machines are located adjacent to the starter stand at hole 1, between holes 4 and 5, at hole 6, and between holes 7 and 8; bringing a reusable beverage container is recommended. Themed refreshment carts also circulate on the golf courses.
Pace of play
Players are paired into foursomes whenever practical to promote a consistent pace of play, and tee times are limited to a maximum of 4 guests. A party of 5 is booked as a threesome and a twosome, each of which may be paired to fill out foursomes. Spectators may walk along with their group as long as they keep up with the pace of play and stay with the group. Course etiquette asks players to play without delay and to allow faster groups to play through.
Policies
Reservations are recommended but not required and can be made up to 30 days in advance; walk-ups are accommodated when possible. Tee times must be canceled and party sizes reduced at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a possible charge to the credit card on file; online bookings may also be canceled online. Rain checks are issued only to players who started a round under normal conditions and could not finish due to weather or an emergency, are pro-rated by holes completed, must be requested at the golf shop immediately after leaving the course with the original receipt, are valid only at the facility that issued them, and do not expire. For safety, babies, toddlers and children requiring adult supervision should not be brought onto the course, and no infant car seats, wagons, wheelchairs, strollers or personal golf carts are allowed on the course.
