Plan your round at Nemacolin – Mystic Rock
Mystic Rock is Pete Dye's 1995 championship course at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in the Laurel Highlands of southwestern Pennsylvania, and it hosted the PGA Tour's 84 Lumber Classic from 2003 to 2006. Known for big elevation changes, water, waterfalls and a few double-green holes, it plays to par 72 at 7,526 yards from the Championship tees (77.0 / 149). Dye and architect Tim Liddy renovated the bunkers in 2021.

Hole 2
379
yds ·White
A dogleg right where the drive must carry a ravine and bunkers that pinch the landing area. Challenging the bigger bunker opens a better angle to the right-angled green, which has a large left bunker and a small hidden pot bunker.

Hole 4

yds ·White

Hole 5
491
yds ·White
The longest par 5 at 598 yards and the signature hole, mostly downhill with water left and bunkers right. The fairway splits into high and low sides, and the green sits beside a pond fed by a 30-foot waterfall. Going for it in two is possible, but water is the danger.

Hole 9
415
yds ·White
A late left dogleg with a pond down the left starting about 220 yards out. The landing area is narrow, and the long, slim green is guarded by bunkers on the left and front right.
Hole 10
336
yds ·White
No notes for this hole yet.
Hole 11
507
yds ·White
A three-shot par 5 with an uphill tee shot and a downhill fairway beyond. A lake runs down the right and the green bends toward the water.
Hole 12
166
yds ·White
A par 3 over a pond with two greens, only one of which is in play each day. Check which green is in use before you pick a club.
Hole 13
345
yds ·White
A dogleg right with a bunker on the right about 250 yards out. The raised green has water at the side and back, so accuracy off the tee matters more than length.
Hole 14
384
yds ·White

Hole 15
382
yds ·White
No notes for this hole yet.
Hole 16
512
yds ·White
A par 5 where the fairway narrows toward a peninsula green jutting into a lake. Laying up to leave a short wedge is the safer play.
Hole 17
166
yds ·White
No notes for this hole yet.
Hole 18
432
yds ·White
A dogleg right and one of the harder holes, with deep bunkers down the left of the landing area and more along the right front of the green. Stay left off the tee for a clear look at the firm tabletop green.
