Plan your round at Oceana Golf Club

Tee times are recommended to better ensure a requested start time, and walk-ins are filled on a first come, first served basis. Any group missing its tee time forfeits its place and must wait for the next available tee time. Groups of fewer than four players may be paired.

Proper attire is expected, including collared golf shirts worn tucked in, pullovers or jackets, slacks, golf skirts, golf shorts, and suitable golf footwear. Sleeveless or cut-off shirts on men, halter or crop tops with bare midriffs, and clothing with vulgarity are not permitted. Shirts must be worn on the course.

Golf carts and pull carts are available for rent, and walking is also an option. Carts are limited to two people and two bags, and children are not permitted to drive. Each additional golfer or rider must pay for their own cart seat. Carts should stay on cart paths and follow signage, keep away from tee boxes and at least 30 feet from greens and fringe, and avoid wet or naturalized areas.

The facility has a driving range and a practice putting green. The practice area opens with the clubhouse and closes one hour before the clubhouse. Range balls are sold in one-bag and two-bag sizes.

A fully stocked pro shop is on site, along with cart and pull-cart rentals and a PGA Professional on staff. Clubs may not be shared — every player must have their own bag and clubs.

Grab-and-go snacks and refreshments are available, along with beer and seltzers. The club holds a beer license and sells canned and bottled beer and malt beverages. Outside alcohol and personal coolers are not allowed under State of Michigan law.

USGA Rules govern all play, and the club has adopted the optional out of bounds rule allowed by the USGA. A ball striking a high tension pole or wire may be replayed with no penalty; the second ball must be played out. Golfers are asked to repair ball marks, replace divots, and rake bunkers. Oceana Golf Club reserves the right to restrict golfers who do not adhere to its rules, and cart renters accept responsibility and liability for use of the cart.
