Orange County National - Crooked Cat
Plan your round at Orange County National - Crooked Cat
Crooked Cat has significant elevation changes, rolling fairways and large contoured greens, with fewer trees, wide landing areas, native heather and mounding for a links-style look. The open routing twists and turns, so wind comes from changing directions and grass bunkers punish wayward shots. The course hosted the LIV Golf League in March 2023.

Par 3Par 4Par 5
Hole 1
437
yds ·Green
"The Wild," a 502-yard par 5. The tee shot should favor the left side of the fairway to avoid bunkers on the right, and the approach to the two-tiered green, which slopes back to front, should stay clear of bunkers on the right.
Hole 2
391
yds ·Green
"The Pecan," a 485-yard par 4. Favoring the right side of the fairway off the tee leaves an easier approach; an extra club may be needed to carry bunkers in front of the green.
Hole 3
346
yds ·Green
"Nags," a 401-yard par 4 with trouble both right and left, so the tee shot should be down the middle. The green slopes severely from left to right.
Hole 4
484
yds ·Green
"The Tanglewood," a 542-yard par 5 reachable with a long drive down the middle. The approach should favor the left side of the green, which slopes left to right.
Hole 5
365
yds ·Green
"The Tidewater," a 441-yard par 4 where a long iron off the tee is the key. The bowl-shaped green is fronted by a bunker.
Hole 6
168
yds ·Green
"The Princeville," a 204-yard par 3 that may require an extra club to avoid the bunkers in front of the green. The green slopes slightly from back to front.
Hole 7
383
yds ·Green
"The Tarken," a 454-yard par 4. The ideal drive favors the left side of the fairway, and an extra club may be needed for the uphill approach.
Hole 8
162
yds ·Green
"The Pit," a 212-yard par 3 with a tiered green. Bunkers sit behind and right of the green, and a miss left leaves a difficult up and down.
Hole 9
328
yds ·Green
"The Bend," a 372-yard par 4 with a severe dogleg left. An iron off the tee avoids water and bunkers left and bunkers right; the approach plays shorter than it looks to a green sloping severely right to left with bunkers left and behind.
Hole 10
371
yds ·Green
"The Sunrise," a 451-yard par 4 requiring a tee shot down the middle between bunkers left and right. The approach to the elevated green, which slopes back to front, may need an extra club.
Hole 11
369
yds ·Green
"The East Way," a 446-yard par 4. The tee shot should favor the right side of the fairway; the approach plays shorter than it looks to a green sloping severely from back to front.
Hole 12
376
yds ·Green
"The Sweep," a 464-yard par 4 with a demanding tee shot and approach. Both should favor the left side to avoid water on the right, and the green is two-tiered.
Hole 13
171
yds ·Green
"Land O' Lake," all carry over water and bunkers to a three-tiered green running back to front. An additional club may be needed to clear the bunkering that surrounds the entire front of the green.
Hole 14
460
yds ·Green
"Pine Lake," a 523-yard par 5. The tee shot should favor the right side to avoid bunkers left, and the second shot should stay left of the chain bunkers on the right. Long hitters can reach in two.
Hole 15
175
yds ·Green
"Lily Pond," a 233-yard par 3 carrying over water and bunkers. Shorter hitters may play to the right of the green, and the tee shot may require an extra club.
Hole 16
385
yds ·Green
"Naddle Hill," a 452-yard par 4. The tee shot should favor the right side of the fairway, and the approach should be kept right on this two-tiered green to avoid the deep bunker on the left.
Hole 17
460
yds ·Green
"The Windy Ridge," a short 540-yard par 5 that long hitters can reach in two. Otherwise keep the ball and the approach on the left to avoid the deep bunkers right.
Hole 18
395
yds ·Green
"The Grey Mule," a 459-yard par 4 playing up to the clubhouse with the widest fairway on the course. The approach should be to the left side of the three-tiered green, which slopes back to front, to avoid bunkers on the right.
