Plan your round at Red Hawk Golf Club

Collared or mock neck golf shirts and golf slacks are the preferred attire for men; golf skirts, dresses, slacks, culottes or golf shorts are acceptable for women. Shorts must be no shorter than mid-thigh, and gym or tennis shorts are not permitted. Sleeveless shirts are allowed but tank tops are not, and jeans or denim of any kind are discouraged. Soft-spiked or soft-soled golf shoes are mandatory.

Red Hawk is a cart-only facility and no walking is permitted, due to the terrain. The fleet consists of electric Club Car power carts, each with a ball and club washer. A valid driver's license is required to rent and operate a cart, and guests are responsible for any damage to a cart while in their possession.

Each player is required to have his or her own set of golf clubs. Rental clubs are available at the club.

The clubhouse and restaurant have a casual atmosphere. Under Michigan law, guests may not bring their own alcohol onto the course, clubhouse or patio, or consume it in the parking lot; violators may be removed from the property and have the alcohol confiscated and returned on departure.

Speed of play is monitored by staff and rangers on the course. A round of 18 holes should not take longer than 4 hours 15 minutes. Groups out of position will be cautioned by a ranger, and a further violation results in the group being required to stop play and move to a position on the course determined by staff.

Groups of eight or more golfers must have valid credit on file and will be charged if the tee time is not cancelled 48 hours in advance. When a round is interrupted by weather, a rain check may be issued based on the number of completed holes as determined by the pro shop staff; no cash or credit card refunds are given, and rain checks expire at the end of the playing season. Pets are prohibited on all club property unless they are certified service animals.
