Red Reef Executive Golf Course, which the City of Boca Raton now calls the Alan C. Alford Red Reef Family Golf Course, is a city-owned 9-hole course inside Red Reef Park, between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. It plays to par 32 and 1,357 yards from the white tees, with holes from about 65 to 227 yards, so it is a short-game test that suits beginners, families and quick rounds. The tees, fairways and greens are seashore paspalum.

- Cancel at least 24 hours ahead to avoid a no-show fee
- Plan to walk, since carts are extremely limited and not guaranteed
- Bring a photo ID and proof of address if you want the resident rate
- A driver's license is needed to drive a rental cart
- Bring a credit card for the booking, which is held on file
- Parking is free
Arrival & check-in
Parking is free for golfers. The course is open daily from 7am to sunset and closes at 3pm on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Restrooms are available on the course.
Carts & walking
Walking is allowed at any time, and all tee times are reserved as walking times. Electric carts can be rented but are extremely limited, first come first served, and not guaranteed. Single-rider carts are not permitted, a driver's license is required to drive one, and a junior must be with an adult to rent a cart. Pull carts are available to rent.

Policies
Tee times are booked through the City of Boca Raton Golf App or the city's tee time page, and a waitlist is available. Online bookings require a credit card on file, with no charge at booking. Golfers who cancel with less than 24 hours' notice are charged a no-show fee. Resident rates need a photo ID plus proof of name and address, and residents of the Greater Boca Raton Beach and Park District outside city limits get resident pricing at Red Reef only. Juniors are 17 and under. The course also takes outings and leagues.
