- Swing Road and the parking lot are out of bounds
- Hole 3, a par 4, is often called one of the toughest in the Cincinnati area

The course's pace of play is 2 hours 15 minutes or less for nine holes. Replace divots, repair ball marks and rake bunkers.
Policies
Tee times can be booked online up to 10 days ahead. Balls that come to rest on or over Swing Road or the parking lot are out of bounds. Junior and senior rates have set days and times, and the Great Parks Golf Rules of Play apply. The course is closed on New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and January and February hours depend on weather. Lightning is signaled by one long blast, and golfers are urged to seek shelter at once. PGA professionals offer lessons, and leagues and group outings are available.
