The Bluffs Course at Arcadia Bluffs is a links-style public course on bluffs above Lake Michigan in Arcadia, designed by Warren Henderson and Rick Smith and opened around 1999. Dunes, fescue and open views of the lake define the round, and wind is a constant factor. It plays to par 72 and 7,300 yards from the Championship tees (rating 75.7, slope 146), with wide fairways and large greens.

Everything to know on arrival
Know before you go
- Pack a collared shirt and no denim.
- Expect strong wind and bring layers; the flags are shorter than standard.
- GPS golf car and range use are included in the green fee.
- Request a caddie through the golf shop ahead of time if you want one.
- Check the cancellation window for your group size before booking.
- Allow roughly five hours for the round.
- Make sure you are on the Bluffs Course; the South Course and The Dozen are separate.
Dress code
Denim is not allowed at any time. Men need a collared shirt. Women need a collared shirt or a golf-specific top, and tank tops and halter tops are not allowed.
Carts & walking
Green fees include a GPS-equipped golf car. Walking caddies and forecaddies are available on request through the golf shop, for a fee plus gratuity. Caddie cancellations inside 48 hours of the tee time are charged in full.
Practice facilities
Both the Bluffs and South courses have full driving ranges, short game areas and putting greens. Green fees include unlimited use of the practice areas.
Pace of play
Rounds can take around five hours, especially later in the day.
Policies
Cancellation windows differ by group size and the club's pages list different windows for small groups, so check with the golf shop. Groups of 12 to 23 players need 14 days notice and groups of 24 or more need 30 days. Late cancellations are charged in full.
