Butter Valley is a public 18-hole, par 72 course in rural eastern Pennsylvania where Berks, Lehigh and Montgomery counties meet. The Gehman family has farmed the land since 1788, and John and Betty Gehman built the course in place of their dairy farm, opening it in 1969. An active airport runway runs alongside the course, and the layout was lengthened and redesigned in 1988.
