Havana Country Club is a 27-hole facility made up of three nines — Kilimanjaro, Kenya and Hemingway — designed by Clifton, Ezell and Clifton Golf Design Group. Changes in elevation and rolling fairways run throughout, with generous landing areas, well-protected greens and undulation on the putting surfaces. Six sets of tees are offered and the course stretches to a total of 7,070 yards. It sits at the southern intersection of O'Dell Circle and Morse Blvd.

Know before you go
- ✓Observe The Villages' dress code
- ✓Each player must have their own clubs, and carts are limited to two people
- ✓Warm-up at Havana is at the hitting net and putting green; limit hitting-net warm-ups to 20 balls or less
- ✓Keep carts on the path on par 3s and around all tees and greens, and follow the 90-degree rule
Arrival & check-in
Havana Country Club is on the corner of Morse Boulevard and O’Dell Circle, 1.5 miles south of Mallory Hill Country Club and half a mile north of County Road 466A on Morse Boulevard. The golf shop is in the Havana clubhouse, which also houses the restaurant.
Dress code
Players are asked to observe The Villages' dress code.
Carts & walking
A maximum of two people per cart is allowed and each player must have their own clubs. Golf cars must remain on paths on par 3s and around all tees and greens, and the 90-degree rule applies at all times.
Practice facilities
Facilities at Havana include a golf shop, a putting green and a hitting net to loosen up. Villages country clubs without a driving range have hitting nets, and warm-ups are asked to be limited to 20 balls or less. Practice putting greens are available at all country clubs; chip shots knee high or lower are allowed provided they do not damage the green or endanger others, and some courses have separate putting and pitching greens marked by signage.
Rentals & pro shop
The golf shop in the Havana clubhouse carries men’s and ladies’ golf apparel and accessories, including FootJoy shoes.
Food & drink
The Havana Country Club restaurant, in the clubhouse, serves Floribean and traditional Cuban dishes, from appetizers and Cubano sandwiches to meals with black beans and rice. Lunch is served daily from 11am to 3pm; dinner runs 4pm to 9pm Sunday through Thursday and until 9:30pm on Friday and Saturday. A breezeway connecting the restaurant and the golf shop has seating. The restaurant’s number is 352-430-3200.
Pace of play
Expected time par for the round is 4 hours and 16 minutes, and the scorecard prints a target elapsed time for each hole.
