The clubhouse, golf shop and practice area are at 806 San Marino Drive, with a putting green on site. Tee times run through The Villages automated system (352-753-4653 or online), and open times can also be requested from the golf shop on the day of play.

The scorecard asks players to observe The Villages dress code. Check the current attire rules with the golf shop before you play.

Golf cars are the norm: residents use their own with a trail pass, and rental gas carts with a rain enclosure are available at any Villages country club. A per-person trail fee applies to cars on the courses. Per the scorecard, a maximum of two people ride per cart, each player needs their own clubs, carts stay on the path at par 3s and around tees and greens, and the 90-degree rule applies at all times. Flower and shrub beds (not cord grass) require mandatory free relief.

The scorecard lists an expected time par of 4 hours 15 minutes for 18 holes, and the card asks for proper etiquette and code of conduct at all times.

Tierra Del Sol is one of The Villages' community golf courses. Villagers receive free membership to the country club facilities and pay resident championship green fees, and residents' guests pay a seasonal guest green fee. The official pages do not say whether non-residents can book directly, so call the golf shop to ask. Tee times are by request 4 to 7 days out (assigned by a points system, fewest points first), by reservation 1 to 3 days out, or by calling the shop on the day of play. A Championship Golf Enhancement add-on gives residents priority tee times and reduced rates. Out of bounds includes the white line on the cart path of hole 6 and the wooden fences on holes 9 and 11, and the card marks no-play environmental zones that must not be entered.
