Amberwood is a 9-hole, par 28 executive course in the Village of Chatham, set in native Florida terrain with large oak trees and grasslands. The back tees play long enough that some holes call for a long iron or wood, and the par-four sixth runs along a marsh preserve, followed by three demanding finishing holes. Executive courses in The Villages offer three sets of tees.

- ✓Request tee times 4–7 days ahead or reserve 1–3 days ahead through the automated system at 352-753-4653
- ✓For same-day play, call the Amberwood starter building at 352-750-0423
- ✓Guests pay a green fee, plus a trail pass fee unless they walk
- ✓The tee time system is offline from midnight to 1:00am daily
Carts & walking
On the Executive courses there is no charge for walking, while use of a personal golf car requires a trail pass, which may be paid daily, monthly, semi-annually or annually. Guests playing Executive courses pay a trail pass fee unless they are walking, regardless of whether the sponsoring resident has paid one.
Rentals & pro shop
Golf cars and clubs may be rented from any Country Club for use at a Championship or Executive course. Rental cars are newer gas models and include a rain enclosure, and a daily trail fee also applies.
Policies
Tee times are handled through an automated system that can be reached by phone at 352-753-GOLF (4653) or online: requests are made 4–7 days in advance and reservations 1–3 days in advance. The system is available 23 hours a day, seven days a week, and is offline from midnight to 1:00am daily. On the day of play, open tee times can be reserved by calling the starter building at the Executive course directly. Guests of residents pay a green fee on both Executive and Championship courses, which varies seasonally.
