Links/Quarry is the Bay Harbor Golf Club 18 made from two of its three Arthur Hills nines, opened in 1997 on the bluffs above Lake Michigan's Little Traverse Bay near Petoskey. The Links nine runs along the shoreline, and the Quarry nine finishes in a reclaimed cement quarry. It plays to par 72 and 6,845 yards from the Brown tees (73.9 rating, 146 slope). The club is semi-private, and public guests can book tee times.

Know before you go
- Confirm the course is open before you book; the club site notes a 2026 season closure
- Bring a card or mobile pay, since the club is cashless
- Arrive about 20 minutes before your tee time
- No denim, tank tops or t-shirts; wear a collared shirt and golf or approved shoes
- Carts are included but restricted to paths on par 3s and near tees and greens
- Cancel more than 48 hours ahead to avoid a fee
- Expect wind off Lake Michigan
Arrival & check-in
BOYNE suggests arriving about 20 minutes before your tee time.
Dress code
Collared shirts with sleeves, mock turtlenecks and golf shorts no more than four inches above the knee are acceptable. Tank tops, t-shirts, sweatpants, athletic shorts and denim are not allowed. Golf shoes or staff-approved athletic or dress shoes are required; metal or ceramic spikes are not permitted.
Carts & walking
Golf carts are included in the green fee. Drivers need a valid license and must sign the season's cart waiver. Carts are limited to the paths around tees, 50 yards out from each green, and on all par 3s, and are not allowed in the parking lot. Carts hold two riders and two bags.
Food & drink
The Links Grille is the on-site restaurant. Check the club website for current hours.
Policies
Non-members must keep a credit card on file to reserve a tee time. Cancelling more than 48 hours ahead is free, 24 to 48 hours costs 50 percent of the green fee, and under 24 hours costs the full fee. Tee times are booked as foursomes, and singles and twos may be paired. The club is cashless (cards and mobile pay only). Rain checks do not expire. The club website currently says courses and clubhouse are closed for the 2026 season, so confirm availability before planning a trip.
